Join #TeamDVConnect in the 2025 Bridge to Brisbane
When 30,000 people descend on the Bridge to Brisbane this September, there’ll be a sea of purple in support of DVConnect.
We’re excited to announce that DVConnect is a Gold Charity Partner in this year’s Bridge to Brisbane, making it easier than ever for you to fundraise for a good cause.
This is a chance to challenge yourself, have fun, and participate in an iconic Brisbane event, all while making a real difference for people impacted by domestic, family and sexual violence across Queensland.
Here’s how you can get involved, and a little more about what we’re trying to accomplish with this big fundraising target.
Plus, keep an eye out for the announcement of our VIP Ambassadors soon!

Why support DVConnect?
We’ve set a massive goal for #TeamDVConnect – a whopping $20,000.
If we hit it, we’ll be able to support a woman and her family in Bella’s Sanctuary for one whole year.
Bella’s Sanctuary is our medium-term accommodation for women escaping domestic and family violence. We host five families at a time, helping women transition into permanent housing.
Here’s what Zoe*, a tenant at Bella’s Sanctuary, said about her experience:
“Bella’s was different to refuge because I could make it our home. I loved that I had the space to be alone with my son Harry* but could be around other tenants or staff when I needed help or some company.”
*names have been changed to protect privacy
We rely on community donations to keep the doors of Bella’s Sanctuary open. Your fundraising efforts will deliver the hope and safety a woman needs to start over.
Sign up. Lace up. Show up. Help us keep these vital services going so no one has to face violence alone.
