How you can do your part to end the violence

It’s up to you! It’s up to me! It’s up to us! Queensland says NO to domestic, family and sexual violence! Ending domestic and family violence is the responsibility of all of us. There are many ways you can help do your part, these include, but are not limited to the following.

Help a friend or family member who may be experiencing domestic, family or sexual violence by learning the signs that they may be experiencing or using violence. Learn more

Challenge stereotypes and call out sexist attitudes like ‘jokes’ that are derogatory towards females.

Speak out if you hear excuses for violence or victim blaming.

Spread the word that violence is never an option or a solution and that there is No Excuse! You may want to put up a poster at your school, university, workplace, sports club so more Queenslanders know how to get help for themselves, or a family or friend if ever they need it. Learn more.
